It protects against interstitial condensation by controlling vapour and responding to local humidity. Its high tack adhesive enables application at low temperatures, both internally and externally. How do I install PREFOLD PHS Fusion Variable Plus?
- Clean and prime the substrate including around the window straps.
- Begin by sealing the window straps with the tape.
- Next apply the tape to the corners.
- Use a roller to fatten creases and secure permanently.
- Unroll the tape to the height of the window reveal to measure the amount needed, and cut.
- Attach the 15mm folded section of tape to the window frame.
- When correctly in place, peel off the backing and attach to primed substrate.
- Press down manually then apply your roller to secure in place permanently.
- For wider tapes with additional splits, apply each split separately and repeat.
- The tape and/or membrane should not be exposed to any mechanical strain.
